Adopting my new little lads I was devastated to hear part of the reason they took so long to be adopted was because of their red eyes. I've always found red eyes beautiful in piggies I think they look like sparkling little jewels. As neither of my boys can join the exclusive and highly regarded stripy nose club we have decided to start a Ruby eye club to show off how beautiful these babies can be. Any piggie with red eyes is welcome to join. Just show us a beautiful photo showing off those pretty eyes to secure your membership.

I don't see why we can't send a membership card over the bridge for him he has got beautiful eyes
 
The lads had a quick cuddle today. I know I'm supposed to be leaving them for a week to settle in but they're doing OK and I couldn't resist a little lap time. Perfect for capturing some ruby eye photos. The boys say Ruby eyes are perfect for eyeing up veggies with.20230612_182212.webp
 
The boys' mum Gladys and her completely unrelated but almost identicsl twin friend Lavender would like to know where garnet and amethyst eyes come in the club joining please? They both have red eyes but not bright ruby, a bit darker.
Our old lady Queen Blodwen who is absolute queen of the impossibly pale bright pinkish red eyes would like to join the club too if ever she is awake long enough to post a photo of her beautiful and mostly blind but very beautiful eye colour! :)
 
Here is my beautiful Muffin! Skittles is her sister and definitely has some red to her eyes too, but maybe a part-time member!

I have to admit, I was put off by the red eyes to start with, but her colour is so beautiful 😍

This photo took a while to get! Most were blurred, close-up noses investigating the phone to check whether it was veg!

Welcome to the club past piggies 😍. I suppose Aja is in too I've checked the small print and it doesn't actually specify Guinea Pigs only.

Yes, back in December of 2018 When I bought my Potato he was much bigger than all the other guinea pigs in the store.
He had been returned cause the people who first bought him didn't like the color of his eyes...I was already eyeing him because he looked so gentle and sweet , after hearing that I quickly said..I'll take him!..There loss..he was a great piggy.
