image.webp image.webp image.webp it has been hectic. Snowy has less than 2 weeks before being introduced to his ladies, so the problem was...how to get the cages together to ease bonding stress when there was no more room in the back room.

Here is the answer. A 2.5 by 2.5 metre box gridded off with 3x4 C&C grids. Snowy has the gridded area and the girls have the rest. For two weeks. Once he is safe to bond the grids get removed, the entire cage gets cleaned, and it doubles up as the bonding pen.

The C&C cage is also getting an overhaul. The table is going and the cage is going on the floor, without the loft. It will be as big as it can be, as I can get in to it to clean properly without over stretching and doing my back in.

What do you all think?

We are almost sitting in the kitchen, but it's only for two weeks. We haven't got a shed...

You must have the most understanding husband in the world! I am so glad he is just as much on board with the piggy renovations as you are.

Unfortunately when the Bond has taken, the six piggies will be going back in to a 8x2 C&C cage with a 2x2 loft. We do not have the space for anything larger without extending the rooms of the house.

The current set up is only for two weeks so the piggies had better make the fest of the room.

Then I get the living room back! Woo!

Love it! Wow

Othing ufortunate about an 8 by 2 c and c cage with a loft! I am still dithering about tring to design some kind of upgrade for my two.

Love the bonding space and your husbands enthusiasm.

That's huge! Lucky piggies will be loving all that space. I think a 8x2 is still very spacey and i'm sure they will still love the space.
