Fifi, Mags, Lexi, Jazz and Penny went dating yesterday at Coseley Guinea Pig Rescue. They came home with Dennis (was Ernie). Initial acceptance was good and they are now deciding where he fits in the hierarchy. Just the one lunge from head sow Mags so far to my knowledge, lots of submission squealing and the odd bit of teeth chattering from Jazz and Mags.

Here Dennis is (long haired pig), Mags is right next to him, Fifi is the ginger floof and Jazz on the far right, Lexi is in the box behind Mags:

Penny, Fifi and Lexi have been watching from the sidelines.

The neighbours i.e. Tazz, are very interested in the goings on and there has been some rumblestrutting plus he has mounted Emmeline's head in his excitement!

What a stunning hub! Sounds like they are busy settling in well together as a group.

Tension built just before this photo as the ladies were getting fed up of having their bottoms sniffed thoroughly so we tried the multiple different kinds of pellets approach which failed, hence the grass.

It's still noisier than normal but the ladies have taken to urinating on him instead of teeth chattering (apart from Lexi who is going with the "complain and bop him on the head" approach).
 
Oh my. Dennis is such a handsome walking wig of a pig. He will soon learn his manners and find the off switch. The girls will soon teach him how to behave around ladies.
