Hello,

I just wanted to keep everyone updated how everything is going with the forum.

You will all have noticed how quiet it has been since January on here, this is beacuse the forum has been on manual registration due to the mad spamming problems we had last year (that if you remember overtook the forum) I am working my way through, activating accounts deleting spam accounts and new forum members are coming through now. So the forum should be getting busier again over the next month. There is some work to do on the technical side of things, that we will hopefully get sorted within the next month or so.

Just wanted to thank everyone who has kept posting during this quiet period, it would have been easy to say, well this place is dead and lose interest. But we have kept it going together, which shows what a great, friendly, helpful bunch of people we have here.

This forum is an amazing community and I have met so many wonderful friends on here, with everyones help and continued posting we can get this place busy and vibriant again.

A forum isn't it's owner, it's admins, its mods etc... it's all of us - The posters that make it what it is.

So each and everyone of you should be proud of what we have acheived together here, the support and friendship, the advice given for poorly piggies and of course the drooling over pigtures!

I think everyone will agree with me when i say, you play a huge part in this forum Lee, your always there for advice and support. Debbie obviously agree's by giving you such a huge role! It simply wouldn't be the same without you!

See if you can get Glynis back with your new found powers too!

Same from me too, right regarding Glynis, if we all shout together, she may hear us down in Oz, so after 3 - 1, 2, 3 :)) :)) :))

COME BACK GLYNIS - WE MISS YOU!
 
I am still in contact with Glynis. She's sadly had a really tough time since her dad died last autumn, but hopefully, things are finally turning up for her and she will eventually have the spare time to come on again here. She knows how much she is missed and is missing the forum very much, too!

Personally, I am very grateful to Lee and Rachael (Mr and Mrs Sport Billy) for keeping the forum going in the way they were doing while both Glynis and I were out of the picture. They have kept me updated with important developments while I was ill for much longer than expected. Lee has my full support and I am ever so glad that he has accepted to be our new admin!

I am also very grateful for all the old faces who have stuck it out!

I havent been around much but yes its been very quiet! Glad to hear things are getting better for Glynis we should all send her piggy lips (and chooken legs) photos <3 Hopefully this place will get back to what it once was ... totally epic rather than just epic x
 
I haven't been about as much as I like either. My piggies are all doing well, out in the garden as we speak, sheltered from the sun and eating lots of green spaghetti - nom nom. :))
 
Is it wrong that I didn't notice that new people weren't joining :red Now that I think about it I've noticed.

You're a perfect person to be a new forum administrator and I look forward to some new changes.

Glad to hear Glynis knows she is missed
 
I haven't been posting much as I've had a bad few months but I am still lurking obviously because its the place to be!

I think you have all done an amazing job if getting rid if the nasties that very nearly took us over!

Don't know about others but that period that there was no forum I felt a little insecure and lost.
