No, that was the A6 towards BuxtonGosh that looks rather familiar? Not the Skipton to Harrogate road A59
Aw, very similar landscapeNo, that was the A6 towards Buxton
yes I miss it too, the Dales are spectacularIt is. I’ve driven the A59 when we lived in Yorkshire.
I love the wildness of the Pennines
We plan on retiring to the Yorkshire Wolds - a beautiful part of Yorkshire.yes I miss it too, the Dales are spectacular
Wharram Percy and Sledmere spring to mind, love both and the countryside is stunning around thereWe plan on retiring to the Yorkshire Wolds - a beautiful part of Yorkshire.
Only 5 years and 6 months to go!
Yes it is unspoilt and not as busy as the Dales and North York Moors. I love the chalk landscapes, quite unusual for Yorkshire. A strip runs from Flamborough Head down into the wolds. Chalk streams are amazingly clean as the water is filtered as it runs of over the chalk beds. I also love the rolling countryside, a lovely part of the world.Yes - we’re really looking forward to living there.
It’s still fairly untouristy so a peaceful part of Yorkshire
