My guinea pigs had been in their c & c for nearly 2 years. It had gone through many conversions and adaptations to accommodate new additions (from 2 to 6 pigs) plus add-ons for various foster pigs and temporary lodgers. It was starting to get a bit rickety and the little darlings had chewed the correx down to the ground in places.

So, on Saturday, everypig was de-camped to the hallway.

This was followed by 8 hours of dismantling, cleaning and then building to create....

I have 2 foster girls in temporary pens on the table. Then my group (Flumpet, Delilah, Minx, Joe, Molly and Biddy) have a 3 x 4 fleece area with a 2 x 2 hay pit. They've all settled in well and Joe pinched the new snuggle hut as soon as he saw it.
