I was using megazorb I find was a bit dusty then went onto finacard and that doesn't seem to last or stop the odour of the piggies what should I use megazorb was absorbent

I would personally use Fleece- It stays dry, not dusty or fine, cheap, only bad thing is you have to spot clean for poo and clean once a week. With white vinegar, normal laundry detergent but NO fabric softener! It also looks awesome.

Often wood shavings are used, but can be dusty and are fine- also can cause respiratory problems. Same as sawdust.
Carefresh is supposed to be good- but it expensive and can be liable to mites.

If you put a layer of Papelit and then Finacard on top, you will find substrate will last a lot longer and odour will be better controlled

I use a finacard alternative and use puppy pads underneath and it mostly stays dry for almost a week and doesn't smell much at all until they're coming to be cleaned out. I don't find newspaper underneath or card on its own, allows enough moisture to go to the bottom, maybe that is the problem.
