What do you find the best all round vit/min/pro biotic, the whole lot suppliment for guineas esp. for building up a pig that has been ill.

One I have come across is a carrot based one but it doesn't have everything in it and has added sugar. Other one is the Vitakraft one in pet shops. Around where I am there's not much choice and you end up having to buy vit c suppliment in one place, pro biotic in another etc.

The all round supplement for ill piggies or ones that are not eating is critical care. Not sure about a pro-biotic. Chewable vitamin c can be bought from any chemist or supermarket. They don't need any other minerals.

I've just had a look on the forum and a lot of people seem to use/recommend Bio Lapis as a good probiotic.

I have also used this on Joey when he was poorly to help with his digestion and firm up his poos. It did work to good effect but Joey was too poorly really for it to help him long-term.

I also bought him some liquid Vitamin C from Holland and Barrett. I searched everywhere for liquid form but all I found was chewable or dissolvable varieties, so I was very pleased to get a bottle from H & B.
