My little old lady is feeling bony 😭. She is well, eating nicely but at 8 she has lost a lot of heft. I thought I'd treat her at teatime to oats and carrots as a fattener. She's not impressed. She has eaten it and is now standing wheeling to remind me she has not in fact had her tea 😂IMG_20221008_193137.webp

I think they all do that lol
Mine have their veggies first hand fed each pig, all finish at different times, then wheek, bar chew, climb bars, desperate for the nuggets lol then there is silence lol

Cheeky girl 😂 but in all seriousness, what a fantastic age she is 🙂
I know! I feel dreadful though because when we lost Timmy I made a decision not to look for a friend as I really didn’t think she would live much longer. A year down the line (almost) and she’s still going strong. She really just sleeps these days, she has properly wound down, I don’t think she has much longer in her but I do feel terrifically guilty.

I don’t think you have any reason to feel guilty.
She’s an amazing age and clearly healthy, despite old age loss of heft.
She sounds as if she’s still full of character too.

Whenever we give ours anything different to their usual feed, they still expect their usual feed too. A whole corn cob with silks was demolished quickly. They then wanted to know where their usual veg mix was.
