I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the recommendation of having piggies living indoors.

My 2 girls came in about a month ago now and they have been so happy its untrue!

They run around all day, eat so much more and seem so content now.

Every time one of us walks past them, they come running to the edge of their cage and wheek to their hearts content until we pay them some attention.

They have made friends with our springer spaniel too!

They are really part of our family now and are so affectionate - they jump into our hands when we go to pick them up as they cant wait for a cuddle. When picked up, they chatter away to us - its so sweet

Their little characters have really come out .......Even hubby likes them now!

Anyway, just wanted to say thank you to you all and this forum as without you, I would not have thought to bring them in to live with us.

That sounds so wonderful. This forum is great, right?! I've learned so much!
 
I'm so pleased for you. I think it sounds as though your OH is well on his way to becoming a piggy slave as well.

YAY a happy ending. I totally agree with you too about having them indoors. I'm pleased it's worked out for you and your OH and your dog :)
 
That's so nice :-).

I brought my lonely guinea who literally didn't move in about week ago and she is already exploring and tossing things around her space!
