I just wanted to post a thank you. Not only to all of y'all who have answered my questions, but to the site owners as well, for having such a nice place.

I had also been posting on another gp site, a very large one, but unfortunately one where in my opinion diverse opinion was not welcome, where at least one vendor could not be mentioned on the site, and in general was not a place I would go to if I wanted some help with piggy questions.

I think each community is different, and I'm glad to be in this one.

I agree that this is a really nice, friendly, informative site where all seem to be welcome, from the very new GP owners to the really experienced ones.....And even those with a wealth of experience still seem to acknowledge that they don't know it all and should never stop learning :)

I've learned more from being here just over the last couple of months than in the 3 years I've had guinea pigs....so thanks from me too!
 
I love this site too, I am totally hooked and often on here :red.

If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't have been able to get my girls, and I have no clue what my piggies would be fed :))!

I have learned millions... and there is so much more to learn :o.
 
me too, if it wasn't for tgpf, i would never have discovered fleece or c and c. Theres so much to learn from so many friendly, experienced people and everyones questions and stories and pics have kept me sane over the last 10 weeks that i have been off work sick. :)

Completely agree, this is the first GP site I've joined, and I'm so glad I have because I've learnt so much in just a few short days on how best to care for my new piggies.

So a Big thank you from me too :) xx

Good post!

I am on a horse forum too and find you lot on here very gentle and kind. Don't get me wrong, I love the other forum but piggies require a special tenderness. There are lots of naughty horses but I don't think I have ever met a bad gp.
 
I am totally addicted to this site too!
if only they had other forums for other things in life such as passing my degree!

Just a wee note to say thank you for such an informative and welcoming site. None of my friends and family share my interests and it is so nice to be able to discuss guinea pigs with other knowledgable and friendly people.
