Just stopped to give a colleague's memorial stone a clean. It overlooks the stretch of motorway where he was sadly killed on duty by an inattentive driver on his mobile phone. A wider shot shows you what I have to put up - and they pay me for it!

I am so very sorry about your colleague. It's great that you are looking after his memorial.

Poor you, it's truly an awful non-urbanised corner of the world.

They couldn't have stuck any more countryside in it even if they got paid for it! Not a single tower block in sight and where have all the drive-thrus and shopping centres emigrated to? What have they done with the brownfill sites and abandoned industrial buildings? You cannot tell me that this is what we pay all those taxes for? There's not a single graffiti or any dumped garbage in view. Tsk tsk tsk... What is civilisation coming to.
