Testing My Patience Ooooo

Hello everybody,

So today while I was cleaning the guinea pigs cage Gizmo decided to jump out of their playpen! He’s jumped out of his cage before *it now has a top dont worry* but never their playpen smh.

Cleaning the cage is the job I hate most but of course I do it in a timely manner because I love them . But after he jumped out of their play pen *btw I didn’t even know he jumped out until he came up to my feet as I was still cleaning* he decided to run under my bed... so that’s cool. Good thing there’s nothing under my bed that can hurt him.

Silly piggies what will I do with him lol.

*there was no injuries to him if anybody was wondering* has anybody else ever had an Olympic pig like Gizmo? Lol

I had a guinea pig named Maya who could CLIMB out of the pigs C & C cage. I would walk into the room and hear Baby wheeking in the cage and Maya wheeking ....... from underneath my dresser.

It drove me nuts then (practically to tears when It would wake me up at 2 am lol!) but now I would love to have to chase my little Maya May around again...you’ll miss It when he’s gone.

I completely understand. Sometimes my guinea pigs drive me so nuts I’ll literally find myself scolding them, and then wonder if I’m crazy

Ahhhh...this so reminds me of the late Pedro. He was a "jumpa". He had no fear & would launch himself off things if he could then zoom around the floor as fast as he could even when he was quite an elderly gentleman. He tried to jump off many things, settee at lap time, my arms when I carried him etc....I used to be able to tell when he was going to jump and stop him from doing it so he didn't hurt himself. Some piggies like to jump! Xx

My Oscar used to get over the C&C panels and be in with one of the other groups! Never did it when I was watching so never discovered how!
He had his own ladies but just greedy for more! Neutered boy of course!

Omg this sounds like Gizmo so much. It doesn’t matter where he is but he will jump so matter where! Little explorative guys.

My Comet has leapt off the sofa twice in an attempt to get at a hay bag. I had to catch him with my left hand (and I'm right handed) and now, they have to stay in the cage when I'm cleaning it out, because one day he'll do it and I won't be able to catch him.
