Twix has been seriously territorial at the moment. Running about the cage swaying and rumbling and keeps mounting poor Biscuit. I'm just wondering of this could be linked to Chooper (our dog) being in heat? I did read somewhere on the forum the dog calming pheremones can help and it does seem to coincide with the nights that Chopper harrasses our legs! lol Any thoughts?

Your Piggies are girls aren't they? It is season time... Don't worry should quieten down in 24-48 hours. I am unsure on the link to link to your pooches season though, worth a google..

Yeah that's right! :) and with a male dog and 2 female guinea pigs i cannot wait for the season to be over! haha! I can't leave my slippers anywhere near the dog these days! lol and yeah I'm gonna google it just now, she's nearly as bad as Chopper! :D

I hope your piggies get better about that!
My Bacon mounts, teeth-chatters, and steals food from poor Eggs all of the time. It is probably just a phase, it will most likely be gone with the season.
The dog things sounds interesting, I've never heard about that before...
Anyway, if it gets too aggressive, separate them.

Yeah i'm keeping an eye on them. It's all hip swaying and mounting at the moment but i've put a wee platform in the cage so when Twix gets too much Biscuit hopes up there and Twix can't get her. She sits there wheeking away at Twix smug to be out of reach! lol but i'm looking into another cage at the moment feeling bad at Biscuit getting mounted all the time! I know i'm not amused when the dogs at my leg! lol
