Terrified New Arrival
I've just got our latest guinea pig home, he seems realy terrified, none of the other pigs were ever this scared when they first arrived.
At the moment he's snuggled up under a towel with one of his eyes peeping out, too scared to move. Any tips on how to make the change a little easier for him.
He was kept in a shed with lots of other piggies, so I spose he's really insecure on his own, I don't want to put him with Spike yet, as Spikes a bit boisterous and I don't think the little new piggie will be able to handle an intorduction yet. I've moved his food bowl closer to him in the hopes that it will encourage him to eat.
edit. He hasn't moved for over an hour . . . apart from the odd twitch when something makes a noise
