Moe
Junior Guinea Pig
Who knew that old pant legs were so useful?
Disclaimer: My pictures aren't great nor are my descriptions. Feel free to ask me questions on more thorough instructions! Also... I cannot sew to save my life.
What you'll need:
- Old fleece sweatpants stained with who-knows-what
- Scissors
- Ruler
-Sewing Machine
-Nontoxic Marker
1. Lay your pants flat on your table with . Use a washable/nontoxic marker to mark one foot (12 inches or about 30 centimeters) above the bottom of one pant leg. Mark an entire dotted line horizontally across the pant leg from this line.
2. Cut along the line drawn with sharpie. You should end up with a tunnel with one raw edge and a pair of short sweatpants. Fold both edges outwards so that it forms "cuffs" on both sides.
3. Use your sewing machine (or you can hand sew it) to secure the edges. Repeat on the other pant leg for a second tunnel.
4. You're done! Customize it to your heart's content, share it with your piggies, or send me an angry message complaining about how incomplete my descriptions were. Enjoy!
If you make any tunnels of your own from this terribly written tutorial, please send pigtures! I'd love to see some other lazy pig slaves with a taste for DIY and ten minutes to spare I'll be sure to share some of my girls enjoying their own!
