Hiya. I have three guinea pigs, two females (Teddy and Minja) and a male who got neutered a while ago (Ginny). The cage their in now is horrifying, and we've been swapping them between the outside hutch and another one where two cages were joined (it broke). Yesterday I put them in the pen in my room as it was too late to get them downstairs, and I didn't put them back because of pondering over the small cage. Nor did I put them in the hutch because apparently it was going to drop to 3 or 4 degrees last night. So there the pen was. Anyone think I could just keep them in there until I can order a C&C one?

Unfortunately Summer has passed so no hutch.
Here's the extremely small cage and the pen they're in now. (Please excuse the mess)

Attach the pen to the front of the cage, open the door and make a ramp so they can get in and out? that would work temporarly. buy a cheap shower curtain to go under the pen portion to water proof it.

Thanks for the advice! I'll try it. But unfortunately I can't see the picture.

Thanks for the advice^^ I couldn't go to PetsAtHome to buy hut, and the other pet shops closed a while ago. I found a ladder type thing to let them go out of the cage, but they can't go out since it's too high, and they won't jump. Any ideas?

I put a box of tissues in front of one of my cages to let the girls out. they climbed on to the box and then down. Perhaps there is a toy or a house you could use?

Abbie could make it over the cage side and Lolapie tried to follow her but nearly always got stuck. Honey couldn't manage it at all without the box.

Do you have a local carpet shop. If so, could you ask them for a carpet tube. The largest diameter they have. You would have to cut it down. They are cardboard but need a saw to cut it. They are strong and will act like a tunnel too.

Here's a picture. ^^ Excuse the mess please. I'm about to clean it out. And thanks for the advice, pip. They haven't attempted to go under yet, but I blocked the spaces just in case.
