Hi, just a quick question: I saw this morning that my Guinea pigs bottom two teeth has a slight gap which wasnt there before, I believe there’s food stuck there. There was an instance where the same two teeth were wide apart due to hay getting stuck there. And a couple seconds later it went back to normal (no gaps or anything) after he grinded his top and bottom together. But, it’s not going back to normal this time around. Any ideas?

Please have the teeth vet checked.

Something may still be stuck or there is a change in how the incisors are growing out after they have been pushed so wide apart in the first and then repeated incident.
Keep in mind that incisors are very long teeth; they are about 4 cm long, running along the upper and lower jaw from roots that are sitting just in front of the premolar and molar grinding teeth at the back.
