Ok we bought Bowie and a week later introduced his friend he had lived with in the pet shop to him. They were immediately pleased to see each other and have lived happily together for over a week. Tonight Bowie started chasing Ludo around and teeth chattering at him. Also noticed a little strutting. No bloodshed or anything. I have put another hiding house so they can separate themselves for time out when they want. They play together and eat together too. Please reassure me they are going to be ok together still?

My two do this too!
They've been for three ever since the pet shop and seem to get on pretty well normally but every now and again they chase each other with chattering teeth and rumbling then they go back to being besties again..

I did read that boys go through like a testosterone boom over a couple of months (like 4-6 months) and again at around a year I think so I put mine down to that.

I decided I'm not going to worry about it too much until there's bloodshed and/or it gets physical.

As long as they have separate things and plenty to do I'm sure they'll be fine.. I'm knterested to see what people say though :roll:

They have calmed down this morning. They have both got a separate bed at the moment but still share a bowl and a bottle. I'll get them separate or those too, see if it helps them.
I am glad it's possibly something they can move on from.
Thanks for your reply

Mine do this, especially if there's a new toy to play with or they get to play in a new space. I think it's just reasserting dominance, so long as both piggies are happy and Ludo isn't being upset or hurt by it, it's just boys being boys.
