My 2 boys piggy and pancake just had a little hoohaa. Sound weird but all of a sudden I heard piggy teeth chattering. Loudly! Then pancake started, loudly! They've been living together for months but we've just put the 2 babies cage next to theirs and I'm wondering is that the problem. Any ideas?
 
Are the babies girls? If so it will make the boys argue and fall out.
 
They've been fighting and mounting. It's like they're establishing the dominant all over again. I've had to seperate them. Now piggy is in his old small cage and I feel terrible! He doesn't understand what he's done wrong. What do I do? Will they constantly fight now? No bloodshed just mounting. :(
 
You put a male and female guinea pig next to their cage?

They are fighting over the female.

You need to move the male and female cage away from them ASAP.
 
Good. I can't give advice on what to do now that you have moved them, if you should keep the two fighting boys together or not as I've never dealt with a female piggy being around boars so I hope someone else can answer for you.
