For the last three weeks i've had them, Spooks and Moops have seemed to get along fine. Running around after each other popcorning all over the place. Now, Spooks (the youngest) seems to delight in disturbing Moops and running after him, and they get into a little scuffle after which Moops chatters his teeth really loud at Spooks. I'm worried about the two of them. In the day they go into the pig pen (which is massive) and sleep in their cage at night. They are both less than 12 weeks old, is it a case of being a stroppy toddler? I hate to say it, but Spooks is such a trouble maker, won't leave Moop alone. If Moop is on the willow ball, he must also.

What do I do? Please help - I need to know whether to buy another cage! :)

I would just keep an eye on things for now. Make sure they have two of everything and plenty of places to hide. I wouldn't rush into separating them straight away. I've usually found things calm down again very quickly. :)

Keep an eye on them. Chattering is ok as long as they do not begin to fight and cause wounds. Keep a water spray bottle around and give them a little spritz of discipline if needed to calm them down.

I've used the water spray on Sunshine and Twinkle when they had a falling out, oh Sunshine didn't like that! Yep just watch them and see how they go. I have one that teeth chatters at me when I dont feed him first! ;D So it coulds be something and nothing. :)

I posted the same kind of post 8 months ago when I bought my 2 boys. They still live together, they still have loads of rumbles, teeth chatterings, and they pretty much don't "live" together. I have 2 food bowels, various hiding places and at leats one thing that I know each of them prefers at any one time.

But they've never drawn blood or had a fur ball fight. They tolerate each other and neither gets bullied so I leave them as they are.

my boys teeth chatter at eachother sometimes but with a quick spritz of the water bottle they soon settle down ;D ;D I wouldnt worry about it too much at the moment :)

Mine occasionally do this, but it never gets beyond a bit of growling and posturing, usually if they both want to go in the same house or eat the same slice of cucumber ::) As long as they aren't physically fighting, I would just keep an eye on it and see if it develops into anything more serious.
