I've recently adopted another sow - Piglet who was mourning the death of her cage mate. She'd stopped eating and drinking and became really depressed.
Piglet has perked up no end and has been really chatty to Marmite and Poppy though the bars.
I introduced Honey in to the same run as Piglet - divided up at first for the first few meetings before removing the divide.
They have both been a bit teeth chattery and have had little digs at each other, but I guess they do a bit of this to establish their position.
I have put them together for a bit tonight and again a few teeth chatters and digs from each other, but also Honey is popcorning and trying to mount Piglet.
Do I let them try to establish a bond or would it be better to separate them? Neither Pig seems too upset or stressed, so what should I do?
