One of my girls sometimes does a teeth chatter when she having a cuddle, she isnt showing dislike of being on my lap or head tossing or squeeking... i read that teeth chattering is usually a warning of about to lash out, she doesnt tho... i usually put her back in cage. Is their any other reason she chatters her teeth? :o

I've occassionally had a piggy chatter their teeth when sitting on me and when I have put them back they have gone straight for a wee! So I have always presumed they have needed a wee and have wanted to go back into the cage to do it! :)

yep me too and sometimes they will have a tug at my cloths.
one of my piggies always does it, goes back in for a wee then back at the door to come out again lol

Lol - mine wee'd on me all the time too but now that I know what the teeth chattering is - they won't catch me out next time! I'm onto them! ;D

does it sound like a a human chattering as on of my piggies sounds like its eating something doesnt actually have anything in her mouth 98)

sometimes mine sound like they eating something thats not there, like as if they found a bonus bit of carrot secreted somewhere but thats not the i want a pee noise, The pee noise does sound like human teeth chattering

Oh - mibi I'm confused then! I thought that was the teeth chattering noise (like when they are eatting something that isn't there). They normally do this when they've been sitting on me for ages and I'm pretty sure a wee has followed shortly afterwards - so now the minute they start doing that I take them back to their cage. So far I have been wee free since doing this! :)

Sometimes toffee chatters her teeth she usally does it and shs never lashed out or anything.... so dont no cant help you on this one. :'(
