TEAS - Easter Fundraising Event

Me too! Have fun, hope you raise lots of money for the piggies x

It's over a three hour drive for me but Allan drives as far as Leicestershire and visits his mum. So i only drive the last hour and i'll have Eileen for company. 😀

I'm not nearly as far away as you @Betsy or @Bill & Ted.

I will be able to find out how little Shelly is doing too.

I came home with a car full of fleece and raffle prizes from the last TEAS event. I think me and Eileen are helping run one of the stalls again. It was such fun last time, we ran the children's tombola.

Maybe those that do not live close.is it worth asking about rescues local to you,if there are fund raising events ?
As far as I know they've not had anything on since before the lockdowns. I am going to try to be staying at my daughter's when her local rescue has a fundraiser, it's usually in July. It's quicker to get there too, less than an hour up the motorway, at least an hour and a half to go 20 miles in Bristol! The rescues here are the wrong side of the City!

Really hoping to make it to this if the brain allows it! So will hopefully see you guys there :) And hopefully lots of pennies to be raised for brilliant TEAS! x

I'm planning on being there as I missed the last one.
Would either of you like a lift as you are more-or-less on my route to Northampton? @Wiebke , would you be interested in a lift?

@Merab's Slave , you really ought to come, make a weekend of it, you owe it to your piggies - there's a big Hotel Chocolat Factory Shop and Cafe just outside Northampton, I saw it on my way to the C&R on Tuesday!

Thank you for your kind offer, @Qualcast&Flymo !

Unfortunately, I cannot come, as much as I would love to because Bron's intended wives are now arriving on Sunday instead of just before Easter for an extended dating holiday. I will be too busy getting everything ready and all cages cleaned, which is taking me still a bit more time and effort these days.

Exciting times for Bron!

Thanks so much for the offer but it’s ok as I’ll just be jumping on the train if I’m well in the morning, so I’ll hopefully just see you there :)

Debbie i would love to come to this event and meet some forum members too. But don't feel I am in a strong enough place still for a day out or a long motorway journey! I hope it is a great success and everyone has fun x

Sorry you can't make it but I totally understand x

It was a good afternoon, and great to see everyone, especially after the forum meet in March had to be cancelled. I was happy to be able to get there to support TEAS, as I got ill just before the Christmas one and had to miss it. The final amount raised was indeed something over £600 - which should pay for a good few piggy visits to the dentist or the plum fairy ...
I parked next to the delivery bot - not seen one in the flesh (as it were!) before. They are too clever - apparently it insisted on staying in the parking space, thereby blocking it from any car drivers who might have needed it
