TEAS Christmas Event - 10th December!

I want to come, but I've had a bad cold all week and I'm only just starting to get better. If I still have symptoms tomorrow, I may have to miss it, I don't want to spread germs everywhere 😫

Sorry, i can't make it this time. Just too much on at home and we are so far away that it takes up the whole day. I will make a donation instead. Hope everyone has a great time and lots of money is raised for TEAS. I'm sure that there will be events next year were i can see you all again. xx

Hope you raise lots of money for the piggies today. Sorry I can't be there. We are visiting our friends in West Kirby and it is snowing heavily. Hoping we don't get stuck here.🌨️🌨️

Thanks @Qualcast&Flymo, hope you feel better soon
I’ve had a nocturnal fit and a sore zombie so won’t be getting over today, very annoyed :mal: I’ll send a donation over in a minute, really hope you raise loads Debbie. (I’ll get Lolo’s cystease sent at the beginning of the week too, sorry I haven’t got it to you already) x

i hope lots of funds are raised.i cold not attend as the clutch on the car gave up .so cat at garage !weve not has snow, sorry for all those that have.

Thanks! I’m not feeling very hopeful about today. Three of our helpers can’t make it and I’ve had lots of messages from people who are poorly! There are so many bugs around! Get well soon to all who are feeling unwell xx
Hope all went well despite the challenges of the weather and illness

I made it! Just about squeaked in at the end so I missed the raffle but was able to visit the stalls, get cakes to bring home.
@furryfriends (TEAS) it was lovely to meet you and admire the piggies 🥰 and have a very useful little chat 😉

So, we went back to the car in the dark and saw a little tiny mini box on wheels just sitting in the next bay. Little headlights and a little yellow flag on top. Really strange but kind of sweet. It wasn't doing anything. As we pulled out there were two more just standing on the pavements. There was a Tesco round the corner with another two hanging around outside. It turned out to be some sort of robot delivery vehicle. But all of these things were just standing still - I was wondering if they were broken or if someone had to follow them with a remote to guide them around or something. But when when we pulled out of the Tesco car park in the dark and frosty weather there were two just waiting to cross the entrance and one made a little dash for it so we stopped to let it reach the pavement on the other side. Seriously - so sweet!

Those are Debbie's @furryfriends (TEAS) favourite robots! :D

I was googling to try and find a picture of them because I didn't think anyone would believe me. I don't know how effective they are at delivering shopping but they were sooo cute! Why are engineers wasting time trying to make robots look like humans - these are much better 😄

I'd need all 5 of those to get my weeks shopping home - think I'll stick to doing it myself 😁
I think I remember Debbie posting about seeing one near her house a year or two ago. Is there something about Northampton? I've never seen one even in the busy 'burbs of Birmingham.

I saw one while waiting outside Cat and Rabbit ages ago, they’re so funny! It was sitting waiting all patiently to cross the road, cute little things! But yeah not sure how much shopping they can squeeze in those little robot bodies!
Glad you had a nice time, would’ve been lovely to meet you! I’m very jealous you got to see the lovely piggies! :)

Hope you raised loads Debbie!
