ok so iv ordered some tarpaulin, greenhouse bubble insulation and some weather proof tape. when it arrives how do i make a cover for my piggies? how to i attach the greenhouse insulation and how do i make the tarpaulin into a cover?

You want to bubble wrap to go around the sides and back. How you attach it is up to you really. If the weatherproof tape will stick it, use that 
. I just threw that tarpaulin over the top of my hutch when they were outside. I would hold it down with a couple of bricks, pull it down the front at night to keep the draught out and tucked it under itself during the day.

i took the easy way out! bought an insulated cover to fit their hutch, dont have to do no diy now, would have only messed it up! lol x

At least you know it will be tight and snug though You can always put the bubble wrap or a fleece under the cover if it gets really chilly later on.
