I felt so sorry for him. He has his own cage and run. Being two years old is it worth castrating him so I can let him run around with the girls? Or should I let him be a 'neighbour' to my two boars?

If the poor boy has been on his own for that long, I would try and "road test" him first to see how he reacts to other guinea pigs, before you commit to an operation.

Over winter he will be able to chatter with the boars. Next year in March time ish I am hoping to build a big outdoor pen with mesh dividers so theres lots of room, but saftey in knowing there would be no fighting. I just thought with is age it wouldn't be a good idea castrating him because I don't know if he's just two or nearly three.:{

Arrr, he will have some company now at least, with what ever you decide to do. well done for taking him on.:)

Perhaps you can find him a baby companion eventually, if you can arrange a supervised intro at a rescue?
