He used to be such a fidget-bum that I couldn’t hold on to him. But now whenever I pick him up, he just has a stretch, then goes back to sleep!

Yes I remember you wondered if you had done the right thing but he’s settled down with plenty of love and patience!

Yeah. I think taking him to and from the run has helped him get used to being picked up (and handled) as well. Still gnashes his teeth on seeing Sprout in the other run...but ah well!
 
Aw, they are never going to be besties, but they give each other stimulation and company, so alls good! My two can have a bit of teeth rattling at times too, silly boys!

Sprout takes no notice, really! But sometimes they’ll interact through the bars nicely...
