tables for c&c

Hi all. Was looking at ordering the 4x2 c&c for my 3 young sows. Has anyone managed to find a cheap table at IKEA, argos or anywhere else that would fit the cage on the top? I'm thinking I may need to get my husband to make one.....
 
Saw a post yesterday where someone had used something from Ikea as bases for C&C and looked fab :)
I'll have a mooch and find it...

Gives people an idea though - we used pine bookshelves and cut them in half, screwed them together and fixed the bases on top. Sounds complicated but it was easy to do and they make fab sturdy bases with brilliant storage underneath :)
You can buy the shoe rack ones for a few pounds and use those maybe:

This is exactly what we ended up with after hacking the four bookcases in half mallethead - one behind the other, screwed together and strong MDF bases :))
 
I bought a sheet of 9mm mdf from b&q which they will cut to size for you and a length of 44mm x 44mmplaned timber which they cut into 400mm legs for me which i simply screwed on and hey presto a custom built table for under £20
 
I am using an Ikea table and will get another one this week.

You want to look for a table top 150x70cm; that supports a 2x4 grid cage nicely if you cable tie the grids.
