Just came back from the vets. George has 2 swollen toes and parts of his feet are a bit swollen too. the vet spent ages checking all his joints. it's not bumblefoot. i wondered if it was arthritis or something similar but the vets said that would be painful and he's not in any pain. the feet are healthy - not sore/dry/flaky etc he's very healthy with a good apetite so i'm stumped really. vet said just keep an eye on it if it gets worse go back. anyone else know what it could be? ?

dobby had bumble foot which shows up by ulcers on the pads, you could try washing his feet with an antibacterial hand wash rinse them off properly though, if they get dry try bepanthen baby bum cream this is what Vedra advised and dobbys feet did clear up, just watch his mouth in case he has an infection that when cleaning he can pass into his mouth, thats what happened to Dobby, and be warned a lot of vets only acknowledged bumble foot in chickens , wierd but true good luck, incoidently dobbys foot started as swollen toes
