Hello, I'm new to the chat. I woke up yesterday morning and I found that my piggie had his right eye swollen underneath.
This are pictures of when I first saw him, two of his bad eye and one of his good eye:

Then, at night, it started to look a bit better:IMG_20210303_231917.webp
And this morning it was looking more or less the same as last night:

Sorry if this one is too far away, it's the only one I have of this morning.
However, when I went to check on him later I saw his eye had gotten worse again:

I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that he kinda run into a pot. A noise scared him, he started running and...well, the fern was in the way.

I've been looking around on the internet and at first I thought it might be a corneal ulcera, then I considered Pea eye or Fatty eye, but now I don't know anymore. I can't find any pictures on the internet that show this kind of eye problem. Does anyone recognise what it might be? Is a vet visit urgent? Or could I treat it at home? 😥

Please have your piggy seen by a vet. You should never treat any condition at home, eyes are classed as urgent and do need to be seen by a vet within 24 hours.
