Sweet bamboo

Hi guys I’m new here . I’ve had my babies chip and dale (both male) for about a year now and I’m always trying to change around their chew toys with safe and healthy options. I’ve found a lot of research on the normal Apple wood chews and such however does anyone have any knowledge on sweet bamboo sticks and if they are healthy?

I know several members on here who feed bamboo leaves occasionally, but my concern with bamboo wood would be that it naturally splinters.
Pet chews may be made so that this isn't an issue, but personally there are so many other chew toys out there that are asafe I wouldn't feed bamboo.

Have you looked into willow or sea grass balls - my boys always loved those.

Perfect thank you for the insight! Yes I just purchased some of willow and Timothy hay balls and they love those! the bamboo sticks came in a pack of other chews however I will just use the safe ones.

Another vote for seagrass here - I had seagrass tunnels that Comet absolutely loved (and loved to eat).

Yep! Mine love grassy tunnels too but haven't been able to get any for a while
