Sweeney and Tato

Sweeney is the dark one right? I’m so obsessed with him! I just want to cuddle him!
 
Yes! That's Sweeney :) I'm rather obsessed with him too <3 Tato as well! Sweeney gives me so much trouble though, trying to groom that gorgeous coat of his. He struggles and wheeks so much and is constantly trying to run away. It seems so traumatic for him, but he'll stay on my lap afterwards and have some veg so I don't know what to think. Trying to associate grooming with tasty treats, but it doesn't seem to be working.
 
Yeah I guess that type of coat would cause problems. I have a very silky coronet, she is actually pretty easy to groom because her hair is straight and soft, she still hates it though.
 
Bless. I know it's common for them to hate it. My last two piggies weren't keen either. I thought they were bad, but Sweeney is so much worse! He's the calmest sweetest piggy when I'm not combing him. I might try giving him a little trim to see if it helps any. I'm just worried it'll affect bonding with him.

Thanks everyone :) They definitely are like yin/yang! Sweeney is so chilled and reserved whereas Tato is the hyper/curious one. I didn't set out to get a black/white pair. Well, I fell in love with Sweeney as he looked so much like my previous heart piggy. Then when I was looking for a companion I fell in love with PEWs. I'm used to long haired piggies so I was surprised by how beautifully soft and shiny Tato's fur is <3 Ahhhh I just wanna gush about them all day! 😁
 
I think they're beautiful! <3 No idea how people can find them creepy/horrible.
