Hi!

She may have badly stubbed her toe and it has swelled. See a vet if gets worse or doesn't swell down again.

Sorry for all the upset on top of everything. You can't miss what has not been there.

Thank you for the advice. We will definitely keep an eye on it and see a vet if it doesn't get better. Thanks again! :luv:

Poor Suzy and poor you having something else to worry about! Caspy had a toe like that before Christmas. He wasn't limping so I didn't rush to the vet, the swelling went down in a couple of days. Sending healing vibes to Suzy.

Thank you so much. Sounds similar to Suzy. She is not limping either. Popcorning and running around like normal. So, hopefully it will heal on it's own. We'll keep an eye on it. Glad to hear Caspy is ok!

Hope that the swelling soon goes down- these girls are really keeping you on your toes x

Suzy just had a vet appointment to get her toe looked at. She's not limping, does not appear to be in any pain, eating, drinking normally, etc. but swelling was still there. No worse, no better, but still there so just wanted to get her checked out. The vet isn't sure what caused it, but possibly stubbed it or got it caught in something and it just healed this way. There are no signs of infection. Vet does not think she's in any pain. No need to follow up unless she starts to appear to be in pain or swelling appears to have increased, etc.
