well I'm off to the planning office tomorrow wish me luck that i can have my summerhouse.i really want to put my guineas and rabbit in there in the winter.michelle x
well what a waste of time that was.i showed the planning office all my measurements of my garden and also the summerhouse that i plan to get and he said i still had to fill in this bloody booklet i said well thats why i have made an appointment to get an answer and he said i have to fill in this booklet anyway.he said i may have to apply for permission as its a new house.he said when it was built the council may have taken my rights away to do anything in my garden or outside my house.he said they often do that will new builds.well i have never heard such rubbish in my life.anyway my hubbie has filled it in and I'm going to take it tomorrow then i will have to wait up to three weeks just to find out whether i need to apply for planning permission its just a load of rubbish x
Oh sometimes they can be complete and utter turds!
I know with new build there are restrictions put on like no aerials or sky dishes, no washing lines ( no I'm not kidding ). Sometimes no planting in te front of the house etc etc. Blooming bizarre, sorry you had a wasted journey .
You are very good, I'd have just built one and to hell with the consequences lol.
I hope you get it sorted and get your summerhouse
That sucks! We are in a housing assosiation new build, we have tv aireal, sky dish, wash line, 10ft trampoline and 10ft pool, BUT we can't plumb our dishwasher in for a year! Go figure!
