Hi,

I have two sows who live outside in a garage and I'm looking for a run for them. It needs to be very sturdy - ideally made out of wood - as we have many cats, foxes ...

I did have a 5ft triangular run like this one that ao bought for £45 but I don't have it anymore :
I am looking to make / buy a run similar to this : Outdoor Rabbit Run Guinea Pig Chicken Wooden Pen Enclosure Cage Coop Mesh Roof

Anyone have any runs that they would recommend ?

Thanks.

I got my outdoor run from rabbit-hutches.co.uk. It is super sturdy and you can lock the roof onto the sides. The roof also contains a brace that means the colapasable sides (for storage) are rigid once assembled. The only way in is to dig under it! They do require some assembly upon delivery, but the places where the hardware goes are marked on the wood.

You would have to bury some wire underneath it- foxes or other big predators could either flip this over or dig under easily. I had this for my two chickens- and a predator had dug under it:bye:

:D I have three metal runs that fold up. They are very heavy and bird- , cat- and dog-proof. As they are metal, they will not rot. You can find them on Amazon. The place that I got them from doesn't sell them any more. I use the Trixie Natura houses with them, as in the link that smileyface:) has given.

erm i was thinking about getting this hutch that has a run to it its made out of wood and wire the linck is below :dri:
RABBIT / GUINEA PIG HUTCH HUTCHES RUN RUNS BUNNY BUSINESS THE GROVE GREY RED BR
The ramp looks pretty steep and open for guinea pigs.
Plus I do wonder how easy it would be to catch them and move them back inside with a run like that.
We have a basic metal run for the lawn, with a roof that we can remove when we want to catch the guinea pigs.
