Sugar And Her Teddy

Has anyone had experience of a guinea pig claiming something as theirs? When sugar was a baby I gave her a teddy bear only really to hide behind and cuddle up to as she got used to us. It was one made for babies and I was keeping a close eye for any chewing. Sugar has been through 2 introductions first her husboar who sadly passed and then her friend Tilly. I wash the Teddy every week but every time it goes back in the cage she recognized it and pulled it to her favourite sleeping spot. Of Tilly goes near the Teddy she gets told off. I get a look of sugar every time it goes in the wash. As if she's saying "mommy you don't need to wash her, she doesn't smell" lol.

Awwwww bless her that is so sweet. She is stunning :love: a lovely story :)

That is just sooo cute!

My two snuggle next to my OH's stuffed socks (washed and clean of course!)

It is great that she loves her teddy, although it reminds me of my son with his bunny lol. It's that mothers fear of - what would we do if it ever got lost :love:

She is guarding "Ted" from the hoomans. "Stop taking Ted away he smells just fine!"

So cute and what a heartwarming story, I have never heard of such before.

Fair play to Sugar she looks adorable!

I might try my girls with a teddy, but they have so much stuff already...I have gone a bit mad on buying them stuff. IV only had them a week and I have spent hindered a of pounds...but they are worth every penny :)
 
Oh gosh I couldn't count how much I've spent on my pets, they have a new cage or extension every few months and I spend all my wages in pet shops! Lol I love them though so I don't mind :love:
