My boys have both always been relatively easy to catch, and wilf still is. However we just relocated to a p@h sage house to get more room and now Archie is refusing to be caught? as soon as I come near him he pegs it around th cage and wriggles himself into a corner. Is this something to do with me? Wilf is still fine and happy to be caught but archie is a little beggar now. will this settle down after he is more used to his new home? ?

i am no expert but think archie is a little freaked out with the new accomodations. :o :o :o perhaps talk to him or offer treats and let him know you are you and everything is fine. O0 maybe cause there is more room he is having fun using it ;D ;D ;D hoping archie settles down soon. O0 good luck hugs :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: archie let your mummy catch you for the best cuddles :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I'm thinking that perhaps he is loving his new hutch and is making the most of the space, even if it does frustrate you. I would agree with the post above and talk to him, ive also found that if you dont catch him first time, leave it, as if you keep going to grab him, he'll just run away more. If you dont catch him first time, leave it a bit and then try again.

He probably knows that he has more spaces to run from you if the new hutch is bigger!

As has been said above, give him time to settle in the new hutch. Wilf might be a more docile character compared to Archie, who could be acting like a little naughty child ... catch me if you can, type of thing! ;D

Let us know what happens!
