Sudden death of two bubbas

Hi all, my boys buzz and woody were only 6 months old I returned home from work tonight and both my gorgeous boys had passed away. One in the hutch the other at the bottom of his ramp. Their hutch was warm and dry, plenty of water and food and they were young and active 😢 I have a strong suspicion they have been terrorised by a fox due to their positioning , is this possible? They weren’t showing signs of illness, were well fed and had a warm bed! I’m completely heart broken and now have to tell my little girl in the morning who adored them - just looking for some friendly support xx
 
I’m so sorry for your loss. Guinea pigs can literally be scared to death but unfortunately we can’t tell you why your boys passed away. Take time to come to terms with their loss and don’t rush ‘getting over it’. When you’re ready you’re very welcome to tell us about your boys in the rainbow pet section.
