I cannot find a water bottle that sticks on! Ahh driving me mad. I'm making a c&c cage but not with the grids so the water bottle needs to stick on with the suction cups, or would a free standing water dispenser/bottle be ok?

Ive made temporary bottle holders out of milk bottles/cartons before. think if you had more time and some wood or other material you could build a bottle stand? Ive used water bowls a couple of times, a bit of a nightmare with my pigs! not tried one of those freestanding dispesers though. in my opinion freestanding bottles(using a stand) are good.

I pierced the alternative c and c grids with a small screwdriver and was able to fasten bottles on that way.

Ferplast sippy water bottles come with a suction cups. You can either attach the bottle to wire by using the clip or use the suction cups it comes with to attach to flat surfaces. I had one when I had my gerbils living in a glass tank. They come in small, medium or large size. @Wiebke uses them for her piggies.

Pets at home sell them or you can buy online. Just type ferplast sippy water bottle in to amazon or eBay etc. The picture doesn't show the suction cups but trust me, they come with them :)

You would need either medium or large size

What about double sided Velcro? I use it for some water bottles on my mice tanks and some of it is that wide for their small bottles I have to cut it in haif.

I use Velcro on my hamster water bottle as he is in aZoozone 2.

Works fine, but I do use the heavy duty stuff, just in case.
