Successfully bonded the girlies

Hooray - we have introduced our new girlies to our older ones today with success |) After 5-10 minutes of sniffing each other and a bit of chasing about, they have settled and cuddled up together. Amelia, the oldest sow has been very maternal with the little ones, sooo sweet to see her x) Olivia, her playmate was a bit bossy but Amelia has shown she is Top Pig
They now have a whole 12ft of running room and OH is in the kitchen building some corner hideys with ramps so they have more 'rest areas'.
Hopefully may get some pics on here later when he's finished - just putting little hand rails on for them as he worries they will fall rolleyes
Just so pleased the girls like each other, have always longed for a herd

Thank you. We quarantined the four babies for 2.5 weeks then put grids between the two pens so they could smell and communicate. Had them vet checked last week too just to be on the safe side. Was very nervous about introducing them and prepared myself for any spats |)
Just looks odd now seeing them all running around together rather than seeing little faces looking through the grids

If you want a group, best start with a neutered boar and a couple of girls, then add another, younger couple of girls for best success.
