Thanks to the good advice on this forum I have now been able to bond a pair of boars. My existing boar "Sparkles" recently lost his life partner and following the advice from various posts on here I have been able to successfully introduce a new piggie to him and they are getting on fine.

That's not to say it was easy. There were a few dominance issues along the way and a couple of minor spats. But we are past that now. They are living in peace. United in their defence against their common enemy, me..the one that keeps putting them away after playtime out in the conservatory every evening!

Great news! Most bondings are pretty nerve-wracking, as you can never predict how they'll go, irrespectively to the experience you have. I am always heartily glad when the dominance phase is over!
