Can anyone help me with this, she is only a few months old and has always sounded like this later on at night. Shes been to the vets 3 times for antibiotics and nothings has helped. has anyone got any advice as to what the noise is please
I’m afraid we can’t tell you what the noise is. Please can you give a bit more detail by answering these few questions. What antibiotic was she given each time? How long was she on it for? Is the hay particularly dusty? Are there any irritants in the same room, such as perfumes, air fresheners etc? And is her companion also having the same hooting like sound?
You could try putting a bowl of steaming water next to their cage. Or run the shower/bath and put her in the bathroom with the steam. But really it needs seeing by a vet. I’ll post a link to recommended ones in case you want to try elsewhere. Hope she’s better soon. Recommended Guinea Pig Vets
