stuffed toy for boars' urges

I was wondering if a toy for my boys to take their hormonal manly urges out on needed to resemble a guinea pig? I was wanting to sew them a little turtle tow because I know it will be safe since I am making it and it will most likely be made of fleece.

So should the "urges toy" resemble a guinea pig or will anything do?
 
Hi, I'm not sure i guess any soft toy will be ok,my 12/13wks old boar has a soft nemo fish inwich he sleeps on,today i got him a soft pink bunny inwhich he sniffed and started to clean while chatting to it!

Anything that is a suitable size - a humping boar is not all that choosy!
 
When our boy Wallace was on his own for a short while we used an old rolled up sock for comfort. What Wallace did with it when he dragged it into his house we will never know but the roof almost came off a couple of times :(|)

HAHA I thought I might get some interesting replies on this one!:(|) I will be making the turtle then, it is going to be small enough for them to do their thing with it.:)) Thank you all for sharing this advice! I figured it's best to have a toy instead of having piggies chasing each other!:(|)
 
I had a guinea pig toy and a white bear and a pink bear for my boys.

Arthur loved the guinea pig toy, so much that he'd sleep with his arm around it, cuddle it and ... occasionally eat it.

My pink teddy bear is completely ignored by both Gilbert and Ludwig.

And my white bear was humped quite a lot by Romano when I first put it in when trying to boar bond him and Corey.

So I think it depends on your piggies. :)
 
yes any toy will do, just make sure there aren't any bits that can be chewed off, soft toys aimed at babies are perfect :))

Naughty girls!:p

I made a "sock piggy" tonight to see how that goes over. I just found a sock without a partner (not herd here) stuffed it with old pillow stuffing (trust me will keep an eye on it) and gave it fleece eyes, nose and ears :) I made sure everything was very secured to it though to make sure nobody got hurt.

And of course it wouldn't be fair to give the piggies a new toy without giving one to the kitties!;) So I made them a stuffed fish with some catnip in it on a string to hang from a door knob:)
