Hello all - I hope everyone is well :))

Today Biscuit (one of our 8 month old boars) did something for the first time:

We have just made some changes to the boys' play area andhe managed to climb up to a new platform I made to get some peas and treats. After he climbed down, I offered him his favourite thing in the world - a yoghurt drop. Before he ate it, he did a kind of rumble strut movement (shifting his wieght from his left hind leg to his right and back) but without the aggressive rumbling or any noise at all.

What does this mean?

Thanks x>>

Hellloo!

Haha I have no idea what this means, but my boy Harvey does it sometimes like he's dancing around the cage, and then he usually ends up popcorning at the end silly boy! :))

Hopefully someone with a bit more piggie knowledge might shed some light on boar dancing! :))

LOL! :))

Sounds like Harvey might be from the same gene pool as Biscuit! He's about the silliest piggy you've ever met :))

Today he made his way on to the platform again only to fall off the end (a fall of about 4 inches thankfully), got up and started zooming for the first time since his pneumonia.......

Hahaha Biscuit sounds exactly like Harvey!
Sometimes i think Harvey is not a guinea pig at all, and he's just plain barmy...he has a habit of climbing (or trying to) ontop of things he knows he can't get down from as its so high...

one time he managed to climb ontop of a plastic box which I was using as a hidey, now the box was the same height as the top of the pen i have no idea how but he got ontop the box and was wedged between the box and the pen lid silly boy thankfully I home to get him unstuck aggh! :))

LOL :))

They must have come from the same litter! I swear sometimes Biscuit thinks he's either a squirrel or a rat but unfortunately doesn't have the agility to go with the ambition and curiosity - thankfully it makes for more funny moments than scary ones :))

Hahaha! They must of been seperated at birth as they both sound as silly as each other, but they are very amusing to watch hehe!
