Stringless beans

I can find hardly any information about guinea pigs and stringless beans and whether they are OK to eat. What I've read seems to vary from "it's poisonous" to "my pigs love them".

Are they safe to eat?

Oh...... I have been given my piggy French beans for some time I will need to check that out. I am sure I checked on the guinea lynx site

dwarf beans are fine, just don't give them every day

The trouble is, it doesn't say what specific kind they are ... just "stringless". Are they runner beans? Some other kind?

they are runner beans and i have read many times they are poisonous to guinea pigs yet the plant isn't. I only feed dwarf beans personally

We had the same problem could never find the definite answer so we decided not to feed them as they already have a wide and varied diet.
