Can pigs eat the leaves of strawberry plants as i have some but the strawberries arent ripe yet...they have lots of leaves on them so was wondering if they can have these?

fantastic idea and good to know! I started growing strawberries but wasnt very successful so I have all these leaves left lol rolleyes

Me too! The blooming pidgeons ate most of mine followed by frogs! rolleyes Now all I have left are leaves lol!

Same here! It's taken me two months and I have a grand total of five strawberries. Not worth the effort!

I got 4 Strawberries off my Strawberry plant - planted it last year totally unsuccessful but it reseeded it's self this year and a grew a total of 4 Strawberries but there is a few that aren't ripe yet!

I tried all 6 of my pigglies with this after reading this post. And they literally snatched them out of my hand.lol They do with most veggies n food.lol

i've probably had about a dozen and they were delicious, very sweet but fairly small to average. I didnt use a special planter pot, just a huge stone pot but i did cover it with some fine netting to stop the birds getting at it etc but just not much joy! so gutted! :(

Just gave the boys some washed leaves tho and one teeny tiny strawb that was left and they loved it lol
