strange sound..

As most know I have 6 boys in pair, all in hutches next to each other..
I have a problem.. 1 is making a really srange noise.. kinda a mix between a dog toy (that squeeks) and a bird crow.

Its really strange, havent the foggiest who it is coming from. Everytime i hear it i jump up but they are all looking fine.

I think it may be neo or ash as its just happened again and my cat went to their hutch and stared at them with a puzzled look.

Any ideas what it could be? its happened 5 times today that ive heard?

Is just one short strange kind of squeak or does it go on?
 
If it's singing, then it's rare to hear it and I don't think anyone has ever got to the bottom of what causes them to do it. The only time I've heard it was a boar, sounded just like a canary, and he sings when babies are born!

There is a sound file of it somewhere on here... can't remember who posted it though!

my stevie or phoenix chirp all the time, i must be lucky! i found that site when we first got stevie and comanche and forgot about it so thanks..

this sound is like that but really loud and just once, so maybe it is the same. Hope it means happy lol :(|)
 
I thought it might be singing - you lucky girl!

I've heard it only once and was worried that something was wrong with Mischief as she was on for minutes. Absolutely weird sound! And never again...
 
lol I haven't heard the chirping from my current guinea pigs but a pair I had in the past used to do that everyday haha I thought it was so strange when I first heard it and it is very interesting to watch when they are making that sound.
