Strange Question... But Whats The Aprox Weight Of A 2x4 C&c Cage?

I am looking at how much it would cost to build two c&c cages for my piggies. I am thinking of building a table and having one cage under the table and one on top of the table. I am looking at table legs at the moment and the max weight it says for the legs is 50kg ... and another is 75kg. Just wondered would these table legs take the weight ok?

You wouldnt have any problem with these legs as each leg can take 50 kgs. What are you considering building the table top out of as you may find that you may need five or six legs to support the length of the cage rather than the weight as using only four could result in time with the middle sagging. We had that problem with one of our c & c cages and we had to fit another leg to straighten up the sag.

Had not really thought...probably wood of some sort.. Am currently just looking up ideas and pricing up how much it would cost and how much space it would take up. Any suggestions would be welcome.. i am not the best at DIY lol ... also any ready made tables that would fit a c&c over and under and also that don't cost too much.

Thanks Bekki :). I just need to find a table big enough to stack on and underneath or work out how to build one lol
 
Thanks Lee,But I cant have one with the storage underneath as i need a table because it will be a cage underneath and a cage on top (as Honor as Haven dont live in the same cage) They need one under a table and one on the table.

Ah yes, they are neighbours I forgot - sorry!
 
Its ok. Hopefully they will have a piggy boyfriend each in the new year.. so it will be for 4 piggies soon, just waiting to hear back again from wheek and squeak. Once they have a new friend each i can work on new cages for them both :)
