strange noise in friends piggie

this is not my pig but i’m posting this for her
my friends boar has been making this noise for roughly a week, this morning they took a video of what he sounded like before they took him to the vets. Vet says it’s nothing serious and given antibiotics on the impression it could be a food related issue. but it sounds to me like it’s more serious like a respiratory infection so we just want a second opinion, i’ll post the link to the video of the noise down below. (he was put in this cage today incase it was a contagious infection he is back in his cage with his sibling)

That sounds like when they sneeze while eating too fast. i think with a URI there is crackling/rattly breathing. Is he still making the noise? What did the vet check? what antibiotic has he been given and for how long? I’ll tag @VickiA @Piggies&buns

he’s been doing this a lot even when he’s not been eating, it just seems to happen a lot, he only went to the vets this morning so i don’t think anything has kicked in yet but i’m unaware of what he’s been given
 
Would your friend consider signing up for the forum?
 
Ah okay. I think perhaps get a second opinion if he’s still doing it. Are the vets experienced in treating guinea pigs? Are there any irritants in the room?

hi! if you read my post i say that this was a temp cage for a few hours and that he lives with a sibling x
